Joe was thoroughly knowledgeable and professional. He kept our co-op apprised of the price and purpose behind each aspect of an extensive gas pipe system renovation and guided us through the subsequently required DOB certification process. Likewise, his team was highly competent and conducted themselves responsibly and cordially throughout a series of projects that took several days. There were no issues or problems. Highly recommended.

Joe and his team did a wonderful job with a big project we had done for our faulty gas lines and other plumbing issues. They were professional, diligent, and efficient. Joe made a complicated process seamless for us and was always available to answer our questions in a kind manner. Don’t hesitate to hire Joe and his team at Buildwise!

Buildwise was excellent during my apartment renovation. The plumbing work was extensive, covering my bathroom and kitchen.

Great experience with Joseph and his company. After National Grid removed the gas meter, Joseph moved quickly to get the city permits and inspections completed. Everything was done fast, professionally, and safely. He was reliable and made the whole process very easy. I would definitely contact him again and highly recommend him! Thanks Joseph!!

I can't recommend Buildwise Plumbing highly enough. We had a long, frustrating gas restoration process that dragged on for MONTHS due to the previous plumber's own delays, and once Joseph and his team took over, it took less than two weeks to get the gas turned on. He was responsive, communicative, straight to the point, and genuinely took ownership of a complicated situation involving DOB approvals and Con Edison coordination.....two agencies that are notoriously difficult to navigate. He kept me updated every step of the way, cleared outstanding objections that had been stuck for a long time, and even canceled his own schedule to personally stay on-site and coordinate with Con Edison and the tenant to make sure everything got done. That kind of hands-on follow-through is rare. If you're dealing with a complicated DOB/Con Edison issue, or frankly any other plumbing issue, this is the team you want handling it. Truly grateful.

Joe and his team are absolutely fantastic. When our small co-op experienced an unexpected gas line problem that quickly snowballed into a complex repair, Joe and his team shepherded us through the entire process, including by navigating permitting, managing subcontractors, coordinating with utilities and conducting inspections. Joe was always available as he worked as fast as possible to restore our gas service. His pricing was fair and transparent. I was grateful to have someone so competent and empathetic as we managed a stressful and complicated gas problem. I would recommend him unconditionally and look forward to hiring him again.

I had an outstanding experience with Joe and his team after receiving an unexpected gas leak, which was incredibly stressful and overwhelming. From the start, Joe was calm, reassuring and straightforward. He clearly explained the timeline and assured me the gas would be restored within days. He then followed through.

Joe handled all the necessary paperwork and permits, coordinated with national grid, and guided me through the DOB inspection. He also identified potential issues in advance so there were no surprises. His professionalism, patience, and consistent communication greatly eased my anxiety.

He is knowledgeable, dependable and genuinely cares about his clients. I'm incredibly grateful for his support and highly recommend him.
